The MAC QUANTUM series if battery chargers was designed for years of trouble-free service. The QUANTUM will recharge any properly matched 100% discharged lead acid battery in 8 hours. The charge is initiated and controlled by one of two controls. The Auto Start/Stop DV/DT microprocessor control starts automatically after connecting the charger to the battery. Eliminates potential operator error with no timers to set. Charger automatically stops after battery receives proper charge. Controls are available with status LED's or digital information depending on your customer requirements.

Equalize Mode - operator selected function extends nor mat charge time

Fail-Safe Protection - internal electronic backup timer terminates charge cycle in the event abnormal conditions prevent abnormal charger shutdown

AC Interrupt Protection - in the event of AC power interruption the charger automatically restarts upon the resumption of AC power

Energy Savings - significant reductions in the time required to charge a battery are made possible by the microprocessor control. This is especially true with partially discharged batteries. Instead of running for a fixed period of time, the automatic control terminates the charge cycle when the batteries are full.

1. Specify complete model number (example 6Q 450 C 2D)
2. Determine number of battery cells
3. Q is a reference to the QUANTUM family of chargers
4. Select AMP/HR for battery being charged
5. Designate letter suffix for designed case/phase/AC grouping
6. Designate charge control & Ammeter (2200 only)
7. Options - Add X and appropriate letter from options sheet
8. Specify AC input set voltage (example:240)
9. Specify DC charge connector (example: SB175 Gray)
